Phillies trade Cedeno, call up Blanco

The Phillies made a trade as well as a series of internal roster moves on Sunday.

The Phillies traded infielder Ronny Cedeno to the Arizona Diamondbacks for minor league catcher Raywilly Gomez.

The Phillies also called up infielder Andres Blanco from the IronPigs and designated pitcher Sean O'Sullivan for assignment.

O'Sullivan had started for the Phillies in game two of a doubleheader against the Braves Saturday night.

The Phillies also optioned reliever Luis Garcia to the IronPigs on Sunday.

Infielder Rusty Ryal was promoted to the IronPigs from the Reading Fightin Phils.
