SPRING TRAINING: Franco impressing in first big league camp

Maikel Franco is opening eyes in his first Major League spring training camp.

Franco, considered the organization's top slugging prospect, has played well during limited action at third base.

Cody Asche is expected to get the starting nod at third this season, but Franco has shown the Phillies' decision-makers that he could be the team's third baseman of the future.

Dan Moscaritolo has more from Clearwater.
