Stutes placed on 15-day DL; Aumont recalled

Another day, another injury in the Phillies beleaguered bullpen.

After Sunday's 8-0 loss to the Mets, the Phillies placed right-hander Mike Stutes on the 15-day disabled list with right bicep tendinitis.

To replace Stutes, the Phillies have recalled righty Phillippe Aumont from the IronPigs.

The move comes just one day after the Phils put reliever Mike Adams on the 15-day disabled list, also with bicep tendinitis.

Five of the Phillies seven active relievers are IronPig call-ups.

Aumont, J.C. Ramirez, Joe Savery, Jake Diekman, and Justin DeFratus all spent time in the 'Pigs' bullpen this season.
