LAURELDALE, Pa. -

Muhlenberg (4-3, 8-4 in 2013) is coming off its first District playoff appearance in four years. While the Muhls have that momentum, they do have some big holes to fill at the skill positions.

Muhlenberg said goodbye to big-time playmakers Ben Ortiz, Eli Quinter and Antonio Dominguez last season. Dakota Thompson and Daryll Ellison were big losses as well.

But head Rich Kolka is confident that he has the guys to fill those gaps and continue to build on the winning tradition he has built in Laureldale.

The Muhls get a good early test in Week 1, when they host Berks Catholic.
