Muhlenberg tops Moravian in rivalry game

Muhlenberg bolstered its NCAA and ECAC playoff bids on Saturday with a 24-12 win over archrival Moravian at Scotty Wood Stadium.

Leading 10-6 in the fourth quarter, Joe Carlucci hit Cody Geyer for a 19-yard touchdown to up the lead to 17-6.

Then, after recovering an onside kick, Carlucci and Geyer connected for a 45-yard score just 32 seconds later to ice it for the Mules.

Muhlenberg (8-2 has a good shot at securing a home ECAC playoff game next Saturday, and is still alive for an at-large berth in the NCAA Div. III tournament.

Moravian finishes its season at 2-8.
