The Muhlenberg boys basketball team has a new coach in Jon Treese. Even though the Muhls are still getting used to his systems, the team has been very competitive at practice, which has the new head man optimistic.

Behind returning players like Jalen Flynn and Nelson Hine, Muhlenberg is preparing to compete in Berks I, a tough division as always.

Treese says his seniors have been pushing the younger players in practice because, with a new coach, nothing is guaranteed. That has created a great, competitive atmosphere for the team.

Muhlenberg won nine games last. Treese replaces Richard Reyes as coach.
