NBA Bans Sterling for Life

Clippers owner also fined and could be forced to sell team

Donald Sterling, owner of the NBA's Los Angeles Clippers has been banned for life by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.  Sterling is also being fined 2.5 million dollars and is in all likelihood going to be forced to sell the team.

This comes after an investigation into a recording where Sterling made racist remarks to his girlfriend.  The NBA says Sterling is the man on the recording and therefore faces the maximum penalty allowed by NBA bylaws.
