EAGLES CAMP: Barbre to start in place of Johnson

On the first day of Eagles training camp, Chip Kelly announced that Allen Barbre will start at offensive tackle while Lane Johnson serves his four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Barbre is a seven-year veteran who saw playing time as a backup last season.

Kelly also said that Barbre would be pushing the starters along the offensive line for playing time regardless of Johnson's status.

Johnson, the No. 4 overall pick in last year's NFL draft, will sit out the first four games this season.
