Philadelphia opens up preseason slate in Chicago

Eagles excited to begin preseason slate

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Philadelphia Eagles begin their 2014 preseason schedule in Chicago Friday night. The team is excited to take the field for the first time and the coaches are anxious to start evaluating talent.

Eagles defensive coordinator Bill Davis said on Monday that he and Chip Kelly had not decided on a final depth chart. It is much too early in the preseason for that.

The next few weeks will go a long way in deciding who makes the 2nd and 3rd teams. The depth chart is wide-open at plenty of positions.

The Eagles and Bears will kick-off at 8:00 on Friday at Soldier Field.
