Vincent Eze scored on a putback at the buzzer to give Notre Dame a thrilling 60-58 win over Catasauqua in the Colonial League boys championship Saturday night at Freedom High School.

With time winding down, Tannor Reed and Austin Gregg both missed shots before Eze got the rebound and the putback just before time expired.

The win was the 11th in a row for the Crusaders, who started the season just 4-9.

Notre Dame's resurgence coincided with Eze's return from a knee injury midway through the season.

In the girls title game, Northwestern dethroned three-time defending champion Southern Lehigh, 48-38.

The loss avenged last year's loss in the title game for the Tigers.

Northwestern finishes the season at 17-1 in the Colonial League.
