Oley Valley baseball falls in state quarterfinals

Lynx rally not enough against Holy...

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Oley Valley baseball team dropped a 4-3 decision to Holy Redeemer Thursday at Parkland, as the Lynx fine season came to a close in the PIAA-3A quarterfinals.

The Lynx were within 1 run twice, 3-2 and 4-3, but Holy Redeemer was able to hold them off.

Oley won 18 games and finished as the runner-up in District 3. The team kept the jersey of Preston Roe with them at all times.
