ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Parkland and Liberty softball teams advanced to the District 11-6A championship game on Tuesday night for following wins at Pates Park.

The top-seed, and 25-0 Trojans, prevailed over (4) Easton in 8 innings, 2-1.

Aubree Fritzinger allowed just one baserunner in the circle for Parkland. MacKenzie Wolf's 2-out single in the 8th proved to be the difference, scoring Sierra Marstellar.

(3) Liberty cruised past (2) Emmaus, 11-2, as the Hurricanes got some payback on the team that beat them in the EPC Tournament.

Liberty connected on 3 homers during the course of the game.

The title game is scheduled for Thursday night at Pates Park at 7:00.
