Phantoms fall 4-3 in shootout

HARTFORD, Conn. - The Lehigh Valley Phantoms fought back for a tie in the third period, but ultimately fell in a shootout, 4-3, to the Hartford Wolf Pack at the XL Center on Friday night.

The Wolf Pack outshot the Phantoms 35-31 in the contest. Both teams were 0-3 on power plays.

John Muse recorded 31 saves for Lehigh Valley in the loss.

Nic Aube-Kubel, Mark Friedman, and Cole Bardreau scored for LV.

The team returns to the PPL Center for games on Saturday and Sunday this weekend.
