PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Phillies place relief pitcher David Robertson on the 10-day injured list, the club announed on Monday. To replace the reliever on the roster, the Phillies promoted right-handed pitcher Drew Anderson from the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.
Robertson heads to the injured list as he is dealing with a sore elbow. In his first season with Philly, Robertson has a 5.40 ERA in six games thus far.
Anderson has started just one game so far for the Pigs this season and gave up four runs in the four innings he pitched.
The Phillies start a series with the New York Mets on Monday night. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
