Pius X loses to Southern Columbia

There aren't many football programs in the state of Pennsylvania that can match the winning tradition of Southern Columbia. And none that can top what they've done in the last 20 years. Southern Columbia went to 12 state title games in a span of 13 years spanning from 1994 to 2006.   They are on the road to another after beating Pius X in the state quarterfinals Friday in Nazareth.  The Royals scored some early touchdown to stay in the game, and trailed only by four at the half.  But the 2nd half belonged to Southern Columbia as they shut out the Royals on their way to a 55-25 win that ends the Royals' season at 11-2.
