Report: Eagles to name Groh offensive coordinator

Staley named assistant head coach

Groh to be OC, Staley now Asst HC

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly set to name wide receivers coach Mike Groh as the team's new offensive coordinator, according to ESPN. Groh would replace Frank Reich, who left the Eagles to take the Indianapolis Colts head coach position.

Both Groh and long-time running backs coach Duce Staley interviewed for the position with head coach Doug Pederson on Monday.

The 46-year old Groh just wrapped up his first season with the birds, but was given acclaim for his work with the receivers, specifically Nelson Agholor, this season.

Staley wasn't left with nothing as he reportedly was named assistant head coach to go along with his running backs coach title. The Eagles did not have an assistant head coach last year.
