Royals' drop 4-1 decision to Beast

READING, Pa. - Tyler Brown's lone goal wasn't enough as the Reading Royals lost to the Brampton Beast 4-1 on Monday night inside the Santander Arena. Branden Komm made 31 saves for Reading in the setback.

Brampton jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first period and built on that advantage from there. The team sealed the win win an empty-netter late in the third period.

The Royals were 0-3 on power plays in the contest. The Beast went 1-4 with a man advantage.

Reading visits the Wheeling Nailers on Wednesday for their next game. The puck is set to drop at 7:05 p.m.
