Rumble Ponies top Fightins, 4-2

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies defeated the Reading Fightin Phils 4-2 on Saturday night at NYSEG Stadium. With the loss, Reading dropped to 59-64 this season.

The Rumble Ponies scored all four runs in the first inning. Joey Terdoslavich smacked a three-run home run to help the hosts jump out to that lead in the bottom of the first frame.

Reading's pair of runs came in the ninth inning via a two-run home run by Malquin Canelo.

Ranfi Casimiro started the game for Reading, gave up those four runs, and suffered the loss. He fell to 5-3 this season.

Following back-to-back losses to Binghamton, Reading looks to stop the skid in the series finale on Sunday. First pitch is set for 2:05 p.m.
