Salisbury girls win pigtail round game over Palisades

SALISBURY TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The Salisbury girl's basketball team prevailed over Palisades, 54-44, on Tuesday night in a District 11-3A pigtail round game at Salisbury.

The (8) Falcons got a game-high 19 points from Caylin Meikrantz and another 18 from Sarah McGee.

Katie King dropped a team-high 17 points for (9) Palisades while Kaitlyn Cavallaro added 16 more.

Palisades cut an 18-point deficit down to 5 in the second half, but Salisbury had too much.

Salisbury will play top-seed St. Basil Academy Friday night at 6:00 at Lower Moreland.
