The IronPigs lost for the seventh time in their last eight games on Sunday, falling to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders 6-5 at Coca-Cola Park.

The loss was the third in a row for the 'Pigs to close out the homestand, with all three losses coming by just one run.

The IronPigs outhit the RailRiders 11-6 in the loss, but left 12 men on base in the game.

Chris Bootcheck (2-5, 4.85) gave up four earned runs in less than five innings of work on the mound.

Nate Spears went 2-for-2 with two RBIs, two runs, and two walks to pace the 'Pigs offense.

The IronPigs (39-44) will play the first of two games at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday night at 7:05pm.
