Southern Lehigh and Bethlehem Catholic both advanced to next week's District 11 3A championship game thanks to decisive home wins in the semifinals Saturday night.
Top-seeded Southern Lehigh beat No. 4 Pottsville 27-3 behind 137 rushing yards and two touchdowns from quarterback Travis Edmond.
No. 2 Bethlehem Catholic will join the Spartans in the title game, thanks to a 34-6 win over No. 3 Lehighton.
Southern Lehigh, which has lost back-to-back District 11 title games to Central Catholic, will now try to win its first District title ever.
The Spartans will host the Golden Hawks next Saturday for the championship.
