SPRING TRAINING: Buchanan making case for starting job

David Buchanan

Clearwater, FL - This afternoon's Phillies game with the Orioles was canceled due to the weather, but the team didn't have the day off.

Ryne Sandberg's team still found ways to get some work in at the Carpenter Complex.

Last season, pitcher David Buchanan went 6-11 in 22 starts for the Reading Fightin Phils posting a 4.82 ERA with 86 strikeouts.

As Dan Moscaritolo reports, the 24 year old righthander has come into camp with some confidence and has been impressive so far this spring.
