The Tulpehocken and Wilson West Lawn girl's soccer teams will play for District III championships on Thursday and Saturday, respectively. Both teams are very excited for the opportunity to win a District title after coming up short in counties.

Tulpehocken will square off with Halifax at 5:30 on Thursday at Hersheypark Stadium. It is a 1 vs 2 showdown to decide the District crown.

The Trojans were upset in the first round of the Berks County tournament by Fleetwood. Since that setback, the team has worked hard to get back to its style of soccer, a brand that got the Trojans a 2-seed in both counties and Districts

Wilson West Lawn also felt the sting of a loss in the county tournament. Only, the Bulldogs fell in the finals to Conrad Weiser.

It's been an emotional few weeks since that time, but the Bulldogs have used that adversity to reach the District finals as a 6-seed. Tim Fick says he couldn't be a more proud coach.

Wilson will face top-seeded Cumberland Valley on Saturday at 7:30 at Hersheypark Stadium.
