Whitehall softball in thick of EPC Skyline race

Whitehall softball in thick of...

WHITEHALL, Pa. - It's a bit of a log jam atop the EPC Skyline softball division. Parkland leads the way, but Nazareth, Emmaus and Whitehall are all right there.

Objects in mirror are closer than they appear.

The Zephyrs are 4-1 in the league, 7-1 overall, having just picked up a key win over Northampton.

19-game winners, along with District 11 finalists, a year ago, Whitehall isn't looking to relinquish its status.

The win over the K-Kids helped alleviate the sting of an earlier defeat to Emmaus.

With Parkland awaiting on Friday, the Zephyrs know its just the start of a pivotal stretch.
