SPRING TOWNSHIP, Pa. -

The Wilson boys lacrosse team answered it's disappointing loss in the District III championship game in convincing fashion. The Bulldogs came out Wednesday night and beat District 11 champion Emmaus by 6 in the first round of the state tournament.

The win got Wilson back on track and sets the Bulldogs up for a meeting with District I champion Avon Grove on Saturday at noon at Harriton high school.

It's the second straight year these two will meet in the state quarterfinals. Wilson was competitive in last year's showdown, eventually losing by three.

But following Wednesday's big win, the Bulldogs say they have all they need to turn the tide against the powerhouse this time.
