BERKS COUNTY, Pa. -

The Wilson West Lawn and Daniel Boone softball teams are underdogs in Tuesday's county semifinals. But the Bulldogs and the Blazers are confident they can hang with their competition.

4th-seeded Wilson will meet top-seeded Twin Valley in the first game at 5:00 in Lyons. But Wilson has won four of its last five games and has kicked it into high gear, especially on offense. This has given the Bulldogs confidence that they can hand Twin Valley its first loss.

The Raiders defeated the Bulldogs, 1-0, in a regular season meeting on May 3rd.

The 7:00 game will feature 3rd-seeded Daniel Boone and 2nd-seeded Brandywine Heights. This is a rematch of last year's county title game.

The Blazers are in their third straight county championship game. That experience has them feeling confident against one of the best teams in Berks County. The key to Daniel Boone's success is simple: they don't acknowledge the pressure anymore.

The Bullets won the regular season meeting, 11-1, in early April.
