Wilson WL lacrosse comes home with a pair of county crowns

Wilson claims both BCIAA lacrosse titles

UNION TWP., Pa. - The Wilson boy's and girl's lacrosse teams continued their dominance within the county, capturing BCIAA championships on Thursday night at Daniel Boone High School.

The Bulldog boys won their 6th straight title. The Wilson girls have won it in back-to-back years. Both were the top seeds in the field.

In the boy's game, Wilson defeated (2) Berks Catholic, 10-2. Matt Marrella netted a hat trick for the Bulldogs.

In the girl's game, (3) Exeter hung with Wilson, but in the end, the Bulldogs were too much in an 8-4 win.

Julia Strobel registered two goals and two assists apiece for Wilson.
