Weather, News, and You at The Da Vinci Science Center

Ed has visited hundreds of elementary schools (just like yours) throughout Eastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey over the last twelve years. In addition, Ed has been presenting another program specifically tailored for the DaVinci Science Center! Back by popular demand, he will be presenting his fun, energetic, and educational weather program at the DaVinci Science Center at Cedar Crest College in Allentown. Ed's program will be held on selected Wednesdays (see schedule below). The program will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will last approximately 60 minutes). (Note: teachers, principals, parents: please be sure to call ahead to check availability as space for Ed's program will be limited). In the event that Ed is not available for a specific date, another meteorologist from the 69News Stormcenter team will conduct the presentation. For more information, be sure to check the DaVinci Center's website for detailed information on how your group can take part in Ed's program. In addition to Ed's school program, Ed has teamed up with the DaVinci Center to provide a completely functional WFMZ Weather Center (at the DaVinci Center). This new, highly interactive weather experience will be open during the regular hours at the DaVinci Science Center. There you will find:

● A fun hurricane experience! You will feel the force of strong winds from the safety of a Hurricane Simulator.

● You can also check the seismograph for any recent earthquakes.

● "Watch water freeze" to see its crystal structure under special filters.
