All of the video stories that you see on 69News are controlled from here.  This room contains several DVC (digital) tape machines, computers, and access to CNN's NewsSource video delivery system.  In this room, tape operators edit some of the video segments that you may see during the newscast.  They also sequence and play the appropriate video according to the script (or "rundown" as we call it).  The video that you see may come from digital videotape, or from our Quantel video server - basically a video file server that allows instant access to any of our stored video.  During a newscast, the operators may be using all six tape machines at the same time.

This room is also used to record incoming feeds from our Easton, Reading, and Philadelphia bureaus.
