I-476 - On Sunday (May 20), one of the three northbound lanes will be closed between Ridge Pike (Exit 18) and Germantown Pike (Exit 20) from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday (May 21); and one of the two southbound exit-only lanes will be closed at the Interstate 76 Interchange (Exit 16) from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday (May 21).

I-476 - On Wednesday (May 23), one of the three northbound lanes will be closed between Ridge Pike (Exit 18) and Germantown Pike (Exit 20) from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday (May 24); and one of the two westbound lanes of Interstate 76 will be closed at the I-476 overpass from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday (May 24).

Brief traffic stoppages may occur in either direction in the I-476 work zone each morning from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. PennDOT said no construction-related lane closures will be in place from 3 p.m. Thursday (May 24) to 3 p.m. Wednesday (May 30) for the Memorial Day Holiday.

Monday and Tuesday (May 21-22) – The left lane will be closed on westbound I-76 between Route 1 (City Avenue) and Route 202 interchanges in Lower Merion and Upper Merion townships from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wednesday and Thursday (May 23-24) – The right lane will be closed on eastbound I-76 between Route 202 and Route 1 (City Avenue) interchanges in Upper Merion and Lower Merion townships from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for bridge cleaning.

Motorists on Route 202 between Route 100 and Matlack Street in West Goshen Township, Chester County will face single-lane patterns Sunday through Friday (May 20-25). Northbound lane closures will occur each night from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and southbound restrictions will last from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Upper State Road will be closed to through traffic between County Line Road and Detweiler Road in New Britain Township from 6 p.m. Friday (May 18) to 5 a.m. Monday (May 21) for reconstruction. Through traffic on Upper State Road will be detoured over County Line Road, Stump Road and Route 152 (Limekiln Pike).

The installation of new traffic signal components will cause periodic short-term lane closures at signalized intersections on Route 202 (Doylestown Road/Butler Avenue) between the Route 309/Five Points intersection in Montgomeryville and Route 611 in Doylestown Township on Monday through Thursday (May 21-24) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On Saturday (May 19), northbound Route 611 Bypass will be reduced to one lane from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. between Turk Road and Ferry Road in Doylestown Borough, Doylestown and Plumstead townships, Bucks County.

On Saturday (May 19), eastbound and westbound Route 3 (Market Street/Gay Street) will be reduced to one lane from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. between Matlack Street and Worthington Street in West Chester Borough.

Drivers in Upper Gwynedd, Lower Gwynedd and Montgomery townships may face slowdowns on Route 202 (DeKalb Pike) between Swedesford Road and Route 63 (Welsh Road) and on Route 63 (Welsh Road) between Stump Road and North Wales Road on Monday through Thursday (May 21-24) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road construction.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will repair the roadway base on Taylorsville Road between Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road) and Interstate 95 in Upper Makefield and Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County, resulting in weekday closures beginning Monday (May 18) through Thursday, May 24 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. During construction, Taylorsville Road through traffic will be detoured over Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road), Route 32 (River Road) and Woodside Road. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the construction area. EMS vehicles and school buses will be allowed access through the construction zone. Residents will also have access to their properties.

Westbound Route 3 (West Chester Pike) will be restricted at Edgewood Road in Marple Township on Monday through Thursday (May 21-24) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lansdowne Avenue will be closed and detoured weekdays between Baltimore Pike and MacDade Boulevard in Lansdowne Borough beginning Tuesday (May 29) through July 31. Crews will work weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lansdowne Avenue through traffic will be detoured over Baltimore Pike, Church Lane and MadDade Boulevard.

Monday through Thursday (May 21-24) – Crews will mill and resurface Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Darby Road and Fairway Road in Tredyffrin Township from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Tuesday (May 22) – Crews will resurface Main Street/Bridge Street between East Yost Street and the Montgomery County line in Spring City Borough from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Final paving operations will continue at night next week on the $19.3 million improvement of Route 202 in West Goshen and Westtown townships, Chester County. Route 202 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Matlack Street and Route 100 on Sunday through Thursday (May 6-10) from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. while crews apply the final layer of asphalt on this portion of the four-lane highway. Motorists are advised to allow more time for travel or use an alternate route during construction because backups and delays will occur on Route 202. PennDOT is nearing completion on the project to improve this 4.3-mile section of Route 202. Construction is scheduled to finish in late May 2012.

Route 29 will be closed and detoured between Charlestown Road and Pothouse Road on Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through May 25. The posted detour will direct through traffic over White Horse Road and Pothouse Road. Local access will be maintained.

Aqua Pennsylvania will close Township Line Road between Route 202 (DeKalb Pike) and Penlyn Blue Bell Pike in Plymouth and Whitpain townships, Montgomery County weekdays beginning May 16 for water main installations. Township Line Road will be closed Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through June 29. During construction, Township Line Road through traffic will be detoured over Route 202 (DeKalb Pike), Route 73 (Skippack Pike), and Penlyn Blue Bell Pike. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Pickertown Road in Warrington Township remains closed and detoured between Stump and Upper State roads until mid-2012 for construction of a bridge over the Parkway.

Lower State Road will be closed in both directions between Bristol and Almshouse roads in Doylestown Township starting Monday (Jan. 9), for bridge construction unrelated to the Parkway. This travel restriction – which is located near the Parkway construction area – is an expansion of a partial detour that has been in place since Lower State Road was closed to southbound traffic only in April 2011. The new bridge is expected to open in Dec. 2012.
