-A contractor will be milling New Street Wednesday, May 23, between Broad Street and Raspberry Street and will need to close the road from 9am – 3pm to complete the work. A full detour will be established utilizing Center Street and Guetter Street. Additionally, Raspberry Street will be closed for milling.

-PennDOT brush cutting crews will be on Center Street between Macada Road and Bierys Bridge Road Wednesday, May 23, from 9am – 3pm and will need to restrict lanes in certain areas throughout the day.

-The Water Department will need to close Union Boulevard between New Street and Main Street after 9am, May 23, to repair a water main break. Emergency Services can get through, if necessary.

-A contractor will be working at the property at Broad Street and School Street and will need to close School Street between Broad Street and Raspberry Street periodically during the week of May 21-25 for lift operations. The closure will only occur from 8am – 4pm and emergency services will be able to access this area, if needed. Also, access to the parking area off of Raspberry St will be maintained.

-Due to recent inspection results, the High Street Bridge to Hellertown will be closed immediately. Please be aware that due to the prior closing of the Seidersville Road bridge by Northampton County, there will no longer be thru traffic from Ravena Street or High Street. Signs, barricades, etc. have been installed to warn traffic of the closure. The City has been actively pursuing replacement of the High Street Bridge; however, until the replacement, alternate routes shall be taken.
