-SR378 / Wyandotte Street: PennDOT’s contractor will be paving Wyandotte Street at nights beginning Tuesday, October 23, at 7pm.  This work is between 3rd Street and continues into Lower Saucon Township and is expected to last through the week.  The work will be done between 7pm and 7am.  During this time, parking will be restricted and lanes will be shifted.  Delays are possible, so please seek alternate routes if traveling through the area at night. -SR412: The contractor will be working on the traffic signals and line painting between Hellertown and Millside Dr Thursday night, October 23, into Friday morning from 6:00pm-6:00am and will need to maintain a single lane condition with occasional stoppages during this time.  Delays are expected so please seek alternate routes if possible.

-3rd Street: A contractor is installing a waterline across E 3rd Street at Pierce Street and will need to close westbound traffic at Founders Way for the work to be completed on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 21-22.  All westbound traffic will be detoured onto Founders Way, and to 1st Street, where they will be brought back to Webster St.

-Columbia Street: The contractor at the Charter School site will again need to have Columbia Street closed Tuesday and Wednesday, October 21-22, from 8am-3pm.

-Lynn Ave is closed between SR412 and Spillman for full reconstruction.  All traffic accessing the industrial park will need to utilize Emery Street.  Officers will be onsite to direct traffic at that intersection during the rush hours.

-The County is planning on opening up Macada Road, but will be closing Bridle Path Road between Center Street and Jacksonville Rd immediately after for bridge repairs. Local traffic will be able to access homes in the area, but no through traffic will be allowed to cross the bridge over the Monocacy. A detour using Macada Road will be posted. This road is expected to be closed until the end of October.

-Due to recent inspection results, the High Street Bridge to Hellertown will be closed immediately. Please be aware that due to the prior closing of the Seidersville Road bridge by Northampton County, there will no longer be thru traffic from Ravena Street or High Street. Signs, barricades, etc. have been installed to warn traffic of the closure. The City has been actively pursuing replacement of the High Street Bridge; however, until the replacement, alternate routes shall be taken.
