-The Contractor at the Charter School construction site at 3rd and Polk Streets will need to close westbound 3rd Street traffic between Polk and Taylor Streets on Thursday, November 20, again from 9am-3pm and will need to detour the traffic to Webster St.  Eastbound 3rd St will flow uninterrupted.  Please use caution through the work area.

-A contractor for the Notre Dame School will be working on Catasauqua Rd at Kelchner Rd beginning Thursday, November 20, through Monday, November 24, from 9am – 2:30pm.  During this time, traffic will be shifted and flaggers will be present to direct traffic. The contractor will need to close Kelchner Rd next Tuesday, November 25, through Monday, December 1, between Catasauqua Rd and Abington Rd for additional utility work.  A full detour will be posted. Please use caution through the work area

-Main Street: UGI will need to close Main Street between Union Blvd and Goepp St beginning Monday, November 10, and lasting approximately 2 weeks (Nov 24) as they move service laterals from one line to another.  This work will occur between 8am and 3pm, and they have been made aware to open the road whenever possible.  Traffic will need to utilize Goepp St and west Union Blvd to get around.

-Columbia Street: The contractor at the Charter School site will be closing Columbia Street between Webster St and Polk St beginning Monday, October 27, and will have the road closed through January for construction of the building.  A detour will be in place utilizing 1st Street.  Due to the placement of a large crane and stone on the road, emergency vehicles will not have access through here; however, other accommodations have been made for fire and emergency access at Taylor Street.

-Due to recent inspection results, the High Street Bridge to Hellertown will be closed immediately. Please be aware that due to the prior closing of the Seidersville Road bridge by Northampton County, there will no longer be thru traffic from Ravena Street or High Street. Signs, barricades, etc. have been installed to warn traffic of the closure. The City has been actively pursuing replacement of the High Street Bridge; however, until the replacement, alternate routes shall be taken.
