Updated State Roads Advisory for East Central Pa. – 7 a.m.
Motorists are advised that numerous state routes in east central Pa. remain closed or restricted because of flooding, downed trees and/or utility lines caused by recent storms. Roadways that have recently opened are labeled with “OPEN” and additions to the previous PennDOT report are labeled as “NEW.”
Following is the 7 a.m. update of road closings in PennDOT Engineering District 5 covering Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton and Schuylkill counties:
Berks County
None.
Carbon County
None
Lehigh County
· OPEN - Spring Creek Road from Mill Creek Road to PA 100 in Lower Macungie Township (flooding).
Monroe County
· OPEN - Rimrock Road from North Easton Belmont Pike to Shiffer Road in Hamilton Township (downed utility).
Northampton County
· OPEN - PA 191 from Gradwohl Switch Road to Hollo Road in Nazareth Township (downed utility line).
Schuylkill County
None.
