Lehigh/Northampton Co - Bethlehem Street Closures

-Intersection of Broad & Main Street – On Monday, June 29, a crane operation will close Broad Street to one lane just west of Main Street between 5am and 7am.  Police have been hired to direct traffic during this time so two-way traffic will remain.

-SR412 & Emery Street – PennDOT's Contractor will be installing a waterline Monday night, June 29, and will need to close the left turn lane from SR412 into Emery Street from 12am-6am.  Traffic will be able to turn left into Emery Street from the thru lane.

-SR412 – SR412 will be restricted to one lane with intermittent stoppages on Tuesday night, June 30, from 6pm-6am between Commerce Center Boulevard and Shimersville Road to switch traffic onto the newly constructed northbound travel lanes.

-The City's Streets Bureau will be milling and paving the City's portion of Central Boulevard and will need to close the road beginning Monday, June 22.  This work is expected to last approximately 2 weeks (July 3).  All access will need to be made from Allentown.

-The City's sidewalk repair job on Main St is expected to start on Tuesday, March 17, near the intersection with Church Street.  This work will continue through June moving north on Main St on the east side to Broad Street and then south on Main St along the west side.  There will be times when a travel lane will need to be closed as electrical conduit is installed.  Two-way traffic will be maintained, but be aware of potential delays throughout the project.

-Due to recent inspection results, the High Street Bridge to Hellertown will be closed immediately. Please be aware that due to the prior closing of the Seidersville Road bridge by Northampton County, there will no longer be thru traffic from Ravena Street or High Street. Signs, barricades, etc. have been installed to warn traffic of the closure. The City has been actively pursuing replacement of the High Street Bridge; however, until the replacement, alternate routes shall be taken.
