Note: this is Ed's 18th year visiting with school groups
Hi and welcome! Thanks so much for your interest in Ed's program. As you may know, Ed has visited with thousands of school groups throughout eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey over the last 18 years. Due to popular demand, Ed will be presenting his new, exciting, eye-dazzling elementary school program for the 2013-2014 school year. (Sorry, no middle or high schools for the 2013-2014 school year).
Note from Ed: Please carefully read the details of our program before completing our online form. Remember, only an authorized teacher or principal may fill out the form on behalf of your school. Students and teachers are encouraged to forward this link/information on to their teachers or principals for them to review and fill out. In addition, every elementary school applying for the program must have a projector/screen with a DVD player connected. In addition, the audio needs to be loud enough for the entire room. I am really excited about this program, which will make learning "weather" fun... the way it ought to be!
Ed Hanna, Chief Meteorologist
WFMZ-TV 69 News / Accu-Weather Channel
HERE ARE THE DETAILS
The program will begin at approximately 11:00 a.m. and will conclude at 11:40 a.m. Embark on a multimedia experience that will explore the amazing world of weather with WFMZ's popular chief meteorologist, Ed Hanna. Ed's exciting combination of graphics and video, combined with his unique style of "entertainment education," will be enjoyed by students in 2nd through 5th grades. During Ed's program, we will make every effort to take video of the students, which will be aired during the evening newscast. Note: Please do not emphasize "being on TV" with the students. We wouldn't want anyone, students or parents, to be disappointed if they are not shown during the evening newscast (this can occur for several reasons including breaking news).
PLEASE UNDERSTAND... only authorized teachers, principals or other school administrators may fill out this form on behalf of a school.
