Tonight will remain rather cloudy and as that late December chill settles in and temperatures fall into the mid 20s. Sunday at 6:03 P.M is the official start to winter and we will enjoy a seasonable day temperature-wise as highs top out near 40 degrees and some breaks of sunshine. Monday will be a bit warmer, but the clouds will be increasing all day with some light rain arriving later in the day and at night. The rain will then continue on and off throughout the day on Tuesday before the main rain event moves in for Christmas Eve. Highs over this stretch will go from low 40s on Monday to mid and upper 40s on Tuesday and then soar into the mid and upper 50s on Wednesday.
