Local Forecast Discussion

Tonight: A shower or t-storm in spots early; otherwise, patchy clouds overnight. Low: 62

Thursday: Sunny to partly cloudy and not as hot as today with lower humidity. High: 81

Thursday Night: Mostly clear and cooler. Low: 53

The spotty showers and thunderstorms in the viewing area Wednesday evening will quiet down overnight, at which point the region will be left with patchy clouds skies for the rest of the night as lows fall into the low 60s. Highs on Thursday won't approach 90 degrees like they did on Wednesday, but we can expect seasonable low 80s under sunny to partly cloudy skies along with lower humidity levels. The area will experience another dry day on Friday with mostly sunny skies and highs near 80 degrees. However, as we move into our Labor Day weekend there is the potential for some showers and thunderstorms. Right now it appears as if most of Saturday is dry will maybe a passing late-day shower or thunderstorm and Sunday brings with it a slightly better chance for a shower or thunderstorm late in the day and at night, but again most of the day is dry. This weekend will also be more humid with highs in the mid and upper 80s.
