Local Forecast Discussion

Tonight: Mostly cloudy and breezy with a soaking rain. Low: 45

Monday: Spotty shower mainly early; clouds breaking for some sun, windy and mild. Possibly record breaking temperatures. High: 70 Low: 41

A soaking rain is expected to continue overnight as an area of low pressure affects the region. The steady rain will taper back to some shower by Monday morning before quickly dying out as the warm front lifts north of the area. The clouds will break for some sunshine on Monday afternoon helping to boost our temperatures even more. Monday is expected to be an unseasonably mild day with highs soaring to around 70 degrees, which could challenge some records (Record: 69/1931). Eventually the cold front will swing through the region on Monday evening allowing a drier, cooler air mass to settle in for Tuesday. Partly sunny skies will be featured on Tuesday along with highs in the lower and middle 50s.
