A cold front sliding slowly south through Pennsylvania and New Jersey was responsible for Saturday's clouds, showers, and cooler temperatures. Clouds and showers will sink south with the front overnight, allowing for drying and clearing trends and eventually a brighter Sunday to wrap up the holiday weekend.
Clouds will likely linger early Sunday, and some showers may linger too, especially from Philadelphia points south. But clouds should give way to some sunshine from north to south as the day progresses. Highs will be around 50, which surely isn't the mid 60s we were treated to on Friday, but it's still a few degrees above our average high for late November, which is in the upper 40s.
Partly sunny skies and seasonably cool temperatures will greet you on Monday as you head back to work and school after the long weekend. Then several more opportunities for occasional rain arrives by Tuesday and Wednesday.
