Local Forecast Discussion

Tonight: Comfortable and turning out clear. Low: 58

Thursday: Warm with plenty of sunshine and low humidity. High: 86

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy with a spotty shower late. Low: 63.

Skies will turn clear overnight as temperatures fall into the comfortable upper 50s.

Thursday will be nice with plenty of sun, low humidity and highs in the middle 80s. However, Thursday night an area of low pressure moving north through the Middle Atlantic states will increase the clouds and may push a few spotty showers into the area by daybreak on Friday. That low will lift into southern New England Friday morning and there will be a lull in the action before a cold front moves in from the west Friday afternoon. The cold front will not only bring showers, but also a thunderstorm or two to the area Friday afternoon and evening. The rain will taper off though as Friday night with most locations receiving around .25". Highs on Friday will also hit the middle 80s.

This weekend is looking very pleasant at this point with a good deal of sunshine and highs still in the middle 80s.
