Local Forecast Discussion

Tonight: Mostly cloudy and humid with a shower or heavy thunderstorm around. Low: 68

Thursday: A shower in places in the morning; clouds giving way to some sun and turning less humid. High: 82

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy and more comfortable. Low: 59

The cold front approaching from the west increasing the clouds throughout the day on Wednesday and even pushed a few showers into the area during the afternoon. That cold front also caused the dew points to rise as highs reached into the mid and upper 80s. Tonight will continue to be rather humid with a shower or heavy thunderstorm in spots as lows fall into the upper 60s.

Thursday will begin with cloudier skies and a shower in spots, but by the early afternoon those showers will taper off and the clouds will start to break for some sunshine. The dew points will also drop once again Thursday afternoon as highs are topping out in the low 80s.

The work will end with a pleasant, partly sunny day as highs stay in the 70s on Friday! Friday will also be a bit on the breezy side. However, it may get even breezier and a bit rainy this weekend if Hermine has anything to say about it. Right now it appears as if Hermine's impact on us would be felt Saturday night into Sunday, but please stay tuned for the very latest over the next few days.
