Local Forecast Discussion

Today: Clouds breaking for some sun, windy at times. High: 36

Tonight: Partly cloudy and cold with less wind late. Current records 8 ABE (1950) & 9 RDG (2009) Low: 10

Tuesday: Some sun fading behind increasing clouds; snow is likely late afternoon, then snow/sleet at night. Slick spots are likely on area roads. High: 31 Low: 29

Watch out for some slick spots on area roadways for the morning commute, also could be a few leftover snow covered roads. Look for the clouds to be breaking up today, so some sunshine is expected later on during the day. Could be windy at times during the day but the winds settle overnight. Tonight, under partly cloudy skies, temperatures will approach record setting low temperatures.

A cold and cloudy start to the day tomorrow, with thicken clouds and eventually some snow likely around 4 PM as our next storm system moves through. The storm will start as snow for us before transitioning to snow/sleet at night and then some rain showers to end Wednesday morning. We'll continue to monitor the details of that system, so stay tuned for the very latest.

However, temperatures will hit the upper 40s on Wednesday. But it doesn't stay mild for long, could see some snow, especially south and east for Thursday with temperatures down into the lower 30s.
