Local Forecast Discussion

Overnight: Mainly clear and chilly (patchy frost possible in northern Monroe county). Low: 42

Monday: Sunshine followed by afternoon clouds. High: 70

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy with periods of rain late evening on. Low: 57

After a seasonable afternoon with plenty of sunshine, temperatures will fall back down into the chilly lower 40s overnight under mainly clear skies. Patchy areas of frost will be possible for some, especially in the northern counties.

Monday will start off mostly sunny and highs should reach the mid 70s. The cloud cover will begin to thicken up during the afternoon as some rain approaches the area from the west along with a cold front. The rain will likely move in later Monday night, lasting overnight and possibly lingering into Tuesday morning, especially south and east. There may be a lingering shower around through the rest of the week, but otherwise expect a mix of sun and clouds with seasonable temperatures.
