Saturday: Much cooler with sunshine and a few clouds. High: 65
Saturday Night: Mainly clear and chilly. Low: 40
Sunday: Mostly sunny and pleasant. High: 70
After a warm and breezy Friday that ended stormy for many, the Columbus Day holiday weekend begins and ends with drier weather. Sunshine will be a fixture in the weekend forecast all three days, with the next chance of any rain not arriving until Tuesday.
After highs around 75-80 on Friday, Saturday will be a much cooler day with forecast highs only in the mid 60s, which is actually seasonable for mid-October. Clear skies and light winds will set up a very chilly Saturday night, with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.
After a crisp start, plentiful sunshine on Sunday should warm temperatures nicely by afternoon, as highs approach 70. The warming trend continues on Columbus Day, with highs nearing 75 as we hold onto mostly sunny skies.
Our next cold front may bring a few Tuesday morning showers to the area, before another longer-lived shot of cooler air settles in for later next week.
