***Winter Storm Warning for parts of the area on Wednesday***

***Winter Weather Advisory for our southern viewing area***

Cloud cover will quickly thicken up overnight as a coastal low pressure system approaches the region. A bit of rain (or rain/snow mix) will begin to push in from the south towards daybreak Wednesday before changing over to all snow for the rest of the day. Accumulation amounts will range significantly across the area with the heaviest amount to the north and much lighter totals to the south (see the map below). Some holiday travel delays will be an issue on Wednesday (especially during the afternoon and evening hours), so plan accordingly when traveling. The storm system pulls off to the northeast late Wednesday allowing some drier conditions to take over for Thanksgiving. Stay tuned for the very latest information on the storm as we continue to keep an eye on this situation.
