Local Forecast Discussion

Today: Areas of clouds and fog this morning, then some sun and pleasant this afternoon. High: 72

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low: 52

Friday: Some sun followed by increasing clouds; rain moving in overnight. High: 73 Low: 59

Today will start out with some low clouds and fog, but once that breaks up the viewing area will be left with partly sunny skies for the remainder of the day. Highs this afternoon will reach the low 70s, which is a little cooler than yesterday but still above normal. Friday will begin with sunshine, but as the day progresses and the cold front to our west nears the area look for the clouds to continue to lower and thicken. This front will push some rain and maybe even a t-storm into the area Friday night into Saturday morning as it swings through the region. The good news is that by midday on Saturday the rain will be exiting off to the east and the clearing out process will begin. However, along with clearing out the region will also be cooling down as breezy conditions usher in cooler air from Canada for the rest of the weekend.
