Snow, rain moving away from the area
Spring is here, but we're not done with the snow yet
Snow overspread our area Monday morning, leaving a coating to up to nearly 4-1/2" in some locations.
Quakertown, Bucks Co., officially received 1.8 inches; Glenmoore, Chester Co., received 4-1/2 inches; Royersford, Montgomery Co., got 3.8 inches; and Easton received two inches.
Milder air temperatures and the warm ground caused much of the snow to melt Monday afternoon.
The heaviest precipitation will move away from our southern tier counties Monday evening, leaving us with mostly cloudy skies.
We expect intervals of clouds and sunshine on Tuesday with highs in the mid-40s.
A rain or snow shower is possible on both Wednesday and Thursday as temperatures climb into the mid-40s both days, but the winds combined with those temperatures appear as if they will steal the headlines once again.
We could approach 50 by Friday.
