Today: Sunshine and patchy clouds, very warm and more humid with a stray late-day shower to the north and west. High: 89
Tonight: Partly cloudy with a shower in spots. Low: 61
Saturday: Partly sunny, breezy and cooler. High: 75 Low: 45
The first full day of fall today will feel just like a mid-summer day with highs approaching 90 degrees and more humidity. Along with the increased heat and humidity, look for the clouds to increase from the north a bit this afternoon as a cold front moves in from the north.
We may squeeze a late-day or nighttime shower or two (possibly a thundershower) out of the cold front, but nothing more than that is expected. Otherwise tonight, partly cloudy skies will take us into our weekend as temperatures dip to around 60 degrees.
After a cloudier start in spots on Saturday, the skies will clear for more and more sunshine throughout the day. However, the sunnier skies will be accompanied by cooler, breezy conditions.
Highs will only return to the mid 70s on Saturday, but Sunday highs may struggle to even reach 70 degrees in many locations. This is more seasonable for late September, but something we're not accustom to after the warm September we've been experiencing. Sunday will also be mostly sunny, so overall a very nice early fall day.
The pleasant fall conditions will stick around into Monday, but by midweek our next cold front will bring another bout with rain.
