Today: Mostly sunny and pleasant. High: 79

Tonight: Mainly clear. Low: 53

Saturday: Sunshine mixing with some clouds (a shower or thunderstorm later at night, mainly N & W). High: 82 Low: 65

We saw a very pleasant day on Thursday with comfortable temperatures, and we can expect another beautiful day today with plenty of sunshine and daytime highs near 80 degrees.

If you're headed out to a high school football game tonight, you will also have nice weather, but if you chill easily you may need a light jacket as temperatures fall down into the low 60s by the end of the game.

Saturday still looks like the better day weather-wise this weekend with dry conditions, sunshine mixing with some clouds and highs in the low 80s.

However, as we get into Saturday night (especially late), a cold front will start pushing showers and thunderstorms into our viewing area from the north and west.

Sunday is when we will experience the bulk of the shower and thunderstorm activity associated with this front. In fact, we may even see a period or two of rain. The showers and thunderstorms may linger into Monday with most locations seeing anywhere from .5" to 1" of rain by the time it's all said and done Monday night.

Sunday will also be more humid then Saturday, but not necessarily warmer since the clouds and the rain will hold temperatures near 80 degrees.
