Local Forecast Discussion

Tonight: Cloudy and damp with some drizzle and a touch of rain. Low: 47

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with drizzle and a passing shower. High: 57

Thursday Night: Occasional rain and drizzle. Low: 48

After a dreary, damp and drizzly day on Wednesday we can expect more of the same tonight as temperatures fall into the mid and upper 40s.

Thursday doesn't appear to be as wet or damp as the last couple days, but a passing shower or two will certainly be in the mix throughout the day under mostly cloudy skies. Highs on Thursday will once again top out in the mid and upper 50s, so don't look for much to change in that department. Friday will present a better opportunity for a few periods of rain in parts of the viewing area as bands of rain rotate northwest from the coast. Otherwise, Friday will feature cloudy skies and you guessed it...high temperatures near 60 degrees.

While there will be signs of change over the weekend, we are still looking at some showers. Saturday a passing shower is possible at any time, while on Sunday the best chance will come early in the day before dry air tries to work its way in for Monday. In fact, a few rumbles are possible with those showers on Sunday. Aside from the shower threat, the sunshine on Saturday is expected to be limited sunshine then on Sunday the morning clouds should break for some sun in the afternoon. Highs over the weekend may still end up below normal for early May, but they will get back into the mid and upper 60s.
