Local Forecast Discussion

Today: Sunny, pleasant and less humid. High: 83

Tonight: Clear. Low: 55

Sunday: Plenty of sunshine and becoming a bit warmer. High: 86 Low: 57

After a stretch of 90s for high temperatures in Allentown, the heat wave does come to an end as we head into the holiday weekend. High pressure builds in for today and remains in control throughout the next few days, so dry and sunny conditions should persist.

Some morning clouds to start the day, especially south of the area, then turning sun-filled this afternoon as temperatures only reach the low 80s with much lower humidity. Tonight temperatures fall to the mid 50s under clear skies. Sunday a bit warmer in the mid to upper 80s. Then Labor Day Monday, in the upper 80s. Of course, remaining mostly sunny!

Have a great weekend!
