Showers, downpours and thunderstorms will be moving through this evening as a cold front approaches the area from the west. Besides the heavy rain the other concern is the damaging wind as winds could exceed 60 mph. In the wake of the rain this evening skies will turn out partly cloudy as temperatures cool off into the the upper 40s.
Conditions this weekend will get better and better day by day. Saturday will be a little cooler with high in the mid 60s and a little breeze as the clouds break for more and more sunshine. Sunday will feature mostly sunny skies as highs touch 70 degrees. Then on Monday for Columbus Day highs will hit the mid 70s with plenty of sunshine.
