Black Friday: Brisk and cold with sunshine and patchy clouds. High: 36 Low: 19
The snowfall totals on Wednesday varied from a trace in Philadelphia to 11" in Albrightsville Carbon County. However, most of the viewing seemed to fall in or near the 3 to 6 inch range. Moving forward, a lingering flurry or two could still be hanging around the area this morning, but most of our Thanksgiving will be dry with mostly cloudy skies. Today will also be chilly with high temperatures running about 10 degrees below the normal and only topping out near 40 degrees. Black Friday will feature a little more sunshine than today, but slightly colder daytime highs. By the weekend high temperatures will push back into the 40s, but just barely on Saturday before returning to the seasonable upper 40s on Sunday. As for the sky cover, partly sunny skies will be on the menu both Saturday and Sunday. However, some of the models are hinting at the possibility of a brief snow/rain shower on Saturday and maybe a late day shower on Sunday. Right now we still have both days dry but we're keeping our eyes on it.
