Local Forecast Discussion

Tonight: Cloudy with rain late. Low: 44

Sunday: Brisk and much cooler with rain most of the day; areas of fog. High: 50

Sunday Night: On-and-off rain and drizzle; areas of fog. Low: 46

We saw a drier day with a few breaks in the clouds at times this afternoon, but later tonight, the rain moves in and continues throughout tomorrow. Low temperatures drop to the mid 40s overnight and then struggle to even reach 50 degrees on Sunday.

A steady rain continues Sunday and is expected to taper back by the late afternoon and evening. Temperatures tomorrow will be significantly cooler, trying to reach 50 degrees and a breeze out of the ENE will make it feel raw and chilly. A few showers could linger around on Monday, but temperatures will be more seasonable by then with highs back into the mid 60s. A general 0.50-1" of rain with locally higher amounts is possible from this system.

We'll get a break from the rain activity on Tuesday, but the unsettled weather returns by Wednesday and lasts through the week. Temperatures next week continue to stay below average, with highs in the lower 60s while the average for early May is in the upper 60s.
