Local Forecast Discussion

Tonight: Mainly clear. Low: 63

Wednesday: Very warm and more humid with some sunshine; a late-day shower or t-storm, mainly north and west. High: 89

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy and humid with a shower and a heavy t-storm around. Low: 66

Tuesday was a very warm, but relatively comfortable day with plenty of sunshine. We can expect to hang on to mainly clear skies overnight as temperatures fall into the low 60s.

The clouds will gradually increase throughout the day on Wednesday as a cold front approaches from the west. While this cold front may bring a late-day shower or thunderstorm to parts of the viewing area (mainly north and west), most of the activity will hold off until Wednesday night. That front will also bring more humidity and warmth to the area as dew points reach into the upper 60s and high temperatures top out near 90 degrees.

Thursday will start out with more clouds and a spotty shower or two, but as day rolls on the clouds will clear, the showers will end and humidity levels will drop once again as the front exits to the east. Daytime highs on Thursday will also be a little cooler as they only climb back to around 80 degrees.

This cooler, less humid air mass will stick around well into the holiday weekend and so too will the sunshine. So if you have an plans outside for the Labor Day weekend you should have very pleasant conditions.
