Record-breaking cold night after fresh snowfall affects area on Thursday!

Tonight: Turning bitterly cold with some clearing. Record low temperature is 7 ABE 1960 and 5 RDG 1978 Low: -2

Friday: Quite cold with plenty of sunshine. High: 25 Low: 6

Snow arrived and provided a fresh coat of 3-6" of snow (locally heavier amounts up to 7 - 10" (among others targeted: the northern Philadelphia suburbs and Berks county areas). Northern Poconos ended up with significantly less snow. 

Bitterly cold (record shattering) air moves in Thursday night and Friday. Through the weekend, partly to mostly sunny skies will dominate with temperatures much closer to normal, the mid 40s!
