Tonight: Rain ends early; then clouds breaking up. Low: 31
Monday: Partly sunny, breezy and chilly. High: 36 Low: 15
Rain will continue to be the big story today as an area of low pressure affects the region.
Some of the rain may be heavy at times through the afternoon and evening hours before quickly coming to an end as the storm system pulls off to the northeast. Most locations may pick up around an inch of rain by the end of this event with locally higher amounts possible in a few locations.
Today's high temperatures will hold in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Once the rain tapers off the evening, we will see some drier conditions taking over allowing the clouds to break up overnight.
Monday will be a brisk and chilly day with highs topping out in the middle 30s despite partly sunny skies overhead. The breezy and chilly conditions will stick around into Tuesday along with intervals of clouds and sunshine.
A snow shower may push into parts of the area on Tuesday (mainly across the Poconos) as a disturbance passes by the region. Temperatures will remain in the lower and middle 30s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
