Clouds, drizzle, cooler temps for dreary Wednesday

A backdoor cool front is draped across the region today and will provide plenty of clouds along with a shower and areas of drizzle.

There can be a thunderstorm in a few spots with a downpour as well.

High temperatures will hold in the middle 70s with humid conditions.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely Thursday and Friday which can also contain heavy rain at times.

Some flooding can occur in areas of heavier rain Thursday and especially on Friday.

High temperatures will reach the upper 70s on Thursday and lower 80s on Friday with humid conditions.

The upcoming weekend looks nice at this point.
