Cold conditions continue, some snow over weekend

A cold night is in store for our area with temperatures tumbling into the upper single digits and lower teens under clear to partly cloudy skies.

The cloud cover will gradually increase across the area on Saturday with a bit of snow possible later on in the day and at night.

Little or no accumulation is expected during the day on Saturday, but we could see a coating to at most an inch in spots early Saturday night.

Temperatures on Saturday will top out in the upper 20s and lower 30s.

Look for more snow to push through parts of the area later on Sunday and continue through very early Monday morning.

Minor accumulations are expected with a coating to an inch possible for the second half of the weekend.

Sunday will also feature mostly cloudy skies along with highs in the lower 30s.
