Today started out with low clouds, fog and a light drizzle or mist, but as the day progresses, some sunshine will return to the area.
Along with some sun returning this afternoon, look for humid conditions as daytime highs reach the low 80s.
Tonight will cloud up again which will help to keep lows on the mild side.
A few spotty showers are also possible overnight as the next cold front gradually approaches the region from the west. This cold front will bring periods of rain and maybe even a thunderstorm to the area on Friday as a storm system pushes to the east.
Some of the rain will come down heavy at times on Friday, which could possibly lead to some flooding.
During this event, we expect to see around 1 to 2 inches of rain with locally higher amounts possible.
The rain should begin to taper off from west to east Friday evening into Friday night as the system slowly pulls away.
Highs on Friday will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
A shower or two will be around, but most of this weekend will be dry with a blend of sun and clouds and highs near 70 degrees.
