Frost advisory in effect for parts of region overnight
Clear skies will dominate across the area overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, allowing the temperatures to plummet into the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Patchy frost will develop in the normally colder spots, leading to potential damage of sensitive plants and vegetation.
The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for Northampton, Carbon, Monroe, Warren and Sussex counties until 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Wednesday looks to be a great day with plenty of sunshine and highs in the lower 70s.
Mostly sunny skies will be featured on Thursday with high temperatures rebounding into the middle 70s.
Some patchy fog may develop in parts of the area during the late night on Thursday and early morning hours on Friday.
Saturday is the last full day of summer.
