TODAY: Clouds and some sun. High: 66
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and breezy with rain arriving late. Low: 50
FRIDAY: Breezy with rain, some of which will be heavy. A t-storm in parts of the area (localized flooding possible). High: 63 Low: 52
We got off to a chilly start this morning with some sunshine, but the cloud cover will increase through the day ahead of our next system. High temperatures will make it into the mid 60s. The bulk of the day and evening will be dry; it's not until late tonight when a round of rain will be arriving. Lows will fall back near 50 degrees overnight.
As an area of low pressure crosses the region, we will see periods of rain throughout Friday. Some rain will be heavy at times, leading to localized flooding in poor drainage or low laying areas. There may even be embedded thunderstorms. Rainfall totals should end up around 1" with locally higher amounts up to 2" possible, so a good soaking is likely.
High temperatures should still reach the low to mid 60s Friday. The bulk of the heaviest and steadiest rain will likely be done by the late afternoon and the rain will taper back by early Friday night. Lows Friday night will fall back into the low 50s.
The weekend still looks unsettled as this low pressure system departs with some clouds and a shower in spots. It will be breezy both days with highs on Saturday still in the mid 60s, but Sunday will be cooler with highs in the upper 50s.
