Friday: Cloudy, windy and cool with occasional rain (some rain this morning will be heavy). High: 60
Tonight: Cloudy with a couple of showers. Low: 56
Saturday: Mostly cloudy and breezy with a shower or two. High: 66 Low: 59
There have been some heavier periods of rain overnight into this morning, and we will continue to see occasional rain today. However, by the afternoon and evening hours we should see the rain taper back a bit. It'll be rather cloudy, windy and damp with highs only topping out near 60 degrees, which is roughly 10 degrees below average for late September. Overnight lows will fall into the mid 50s tonight as we continue to deal with windy conditions.
There will be some showers around this weekend and maybe even another enhanced period of rain Saturday night into Sunday. However, each day we will see some improvements. So there will be a few showers around on Saturday and perhaps that period of rain at night, but Sunday the showers are expected to be more scattered. Along with that, the winds will die down over the weekend as temperatures rise back into the mid 60s on Saturday and then approach 70 degrees on Sunday. As for putting a number on the rainfall amounts, they will vary greatly across the viewing area, but most of the viewing area will see rainfall amounts in the .50" to 2" range. However, there will be locations that could see more than 2" and those areas will mainly be south of Allentown.
